Cass Kilyanek, PT
Cass attended Wayne State University in Detroit, MI where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Continuing his education at WSU, the health facilities in Metro Detroit provided excellent opportunities to work with diverse populations and a wide array conditions requiring rehabilitation. Cass completed a second Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and began professional career as an outpatient therapist. It was during this time in Metro Detroit, Cass had the opportunity to work with some of the best athletic trainers, coaches and therapists in professional sports. Within several years, he was responsible for the entire physical therapy department with 35 staff members and a 33 bed rehabilitation unit.
Sean Mandle, ATC
Sean Mandle is a graduate of Lowell High School. He attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI were he earned a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. Upon graduating, Sean moved back to the West Michigan where he was able to work as an Athletic Trainer with the Grand Rapids Rampage (Arena Football League) during their final season.
Susan Peterson, PTA
Susan graduated with an Associate Degree for Physical Therapist Assistant from Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, MI. In 2017, she earned a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services with a Minor in Gerontology from Western Michigan University. Susan began her professional career at Mary Free Bed in Grand Rapids where she served on the Spinal Cord Injury. Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Pediatric and Outpatient Teams.

Cass Kilyanek, PT opened the office in Lowell in January, 2001. Our employees have committed themselves to providing the highest quality physical therapy services that is personalized and cost-effective. We believe our patients are not all the same and are more than just a body part. We treat the entire person, listening to our patients to develop a unique plan of care that fits each individual's needs. Dery Physical Therapy Service's one-to-one approach with our patients allows for the reevaluation of their physical therapy continuously. This ensures our patients are making progress throughout their rehabilitation. Our therapists are continuously advancing their rehabilitation programs to make a difference in our patient outcomes. We are proud to provide physical therapy that enables individuals to achieve their optimum functional and performance goals.
Dery Physical Therapy Services is locally owned. Our owner and most of our employees work and live in Lowell or the Lowell school district. We are not expected to generate an income for a health system, or contribute to the financial well-being of multiple private sites. Dery Physical Therapy can focus on the rehabilitation needs in our community and support the causes our community believes are important. As active members in our community, we share our time, talents and resources with the community.
